Hi, I have a seagate 40GB 7200 rpm. But i can't make any partition (fat32 or with ntfs either) or even format it. I've tried mhdd 'erase' and 'remap' but when they found a bad sector it stoped very long time and never move again. Can any body help ? Thanks a lot.

Hi
Should the data not needed, the best thing U can do is to get a new drive not spending too much time on the bad one.

So rameez is that true Salvation Data can fix my problem ? I don't have to retrieved my data from it. I have a lot of HDD at my store that has this kind of problem. If it's true, $450 it doesn't matter with me. Have ever tried Salvation Data before?
Thanks rameez...

Run a full erase with Seagate utility (DiscWizard) and see if that helps.
