Hi,

Yes, either free up the spindle or swap platters and align them.
There's no easy way...

I have some 3 disk refurbished maxtors Platinum 200GB that were like this, from USB caddies, spindles were stuck from being dropped and one disk was slipped also. I used a piston ring compressor (like mechanics use) similar to the platter exchange tool, clamped it around the platters, loosened the fixing screws, and re-tightened them to help align them. I had success with 3 out of 6 this way to re-align the disks. I freed the spindles with two small screwdrivers inserted into the hub holes, and another to help turn the spindle until it freed up.

Like this without crimps on edge http://www.mytoolstore.com/kd/kdengi08.html

Platter exchange tool $2000.00
This one $15.00 :) :)
