Hi All,

I am considering buying the data recovery tools Salvation Data offers for Seagate, Maxtor and WD.

I already own a PC-3000 UDMA but would be interested in having a 2nd tool to use if this cannot help.

Does anybody here own their tools and if so - do you regret buying it? (i.e Are the tools crap and useless) or would you recommend it to other data recovery people?

Thanks.
Zed.

Yes. SalvationDATA prouducts work and we provide more than proudcts. You have UDMA, but as a prefessional, you need more than one solution if you have some difficult cases at your hand.

You can contact me at sales.laura@salvationdata.com to know advantages of SalvationDATA proudcts than the UDMA.

Best Regards,

Laura

I would like an opinion from a 'user' of the products, not a salesperson from the company. Of course you would say it's great.

Any actual users of the products care to give input?

I am a user of Maxtor Doctor from salvationdata.
I got complete features as they described in the product feature. Thier tutorial is outstanding to understand every specification of a hdd.
most important thing is that- their customer support I got very well.
I dont have PC-3000, so I dont know about PC-3000.

one thing to say, those tools are engineering tool, Its the user capability to achieve the best output from the tools they(salvationdata/pc-3000) produce. I got every bit of output I expected from a professional tool the salvationdata have.

their Hitachi tool is unique in the world.
Thank You
SHAHI

Thanks Shahi, what kind of problems does their Maxtor tool help you solve? What kind of problems has it fixed for you in the past?

Also - what can their Hitachi tool do which is unique? I don't often get many Hitachi HDDs with firmware problems, usually just damaged heads.

Thanks.

If u have Pc3k UDMA
why do u need salvation data ?

If u are not able to handle your jobs using UDMA then salvation would not be able to help u .

Thanks Rameez. The reason i am looking for another tool is that the PC-3000 UDMA tool does not support many new model drives, i often have drives which are not supported - especially the disks over 500 gb.

Also - i'm looking for other methods of Password unlocking as the PC-3000 udma does not support all models (especially Seagate 2.5" i am interested in).

The PC-3000 UDMA has been my 'secret weapon' in my business for years but sadly it's not capable of supporting every hard drive that comes out, AceLabs has been very slack with with updates and resources to find firmware and loaders for newer drives. They seem to be very lazy these days when it comes to customer's needs. I suspect it's due to the fact that they run their own data recovery business too.

Salvation data products are good and on its track, service is the BEST, Salvation team is very professional and helpful.

Like many good software there are always lots of room for improvements, Salvation products User interface is not as nice as PC3000, however it works and best of all the team will help you along the way.

UDMA cannot always fix problems, likewise Salvationdata products, so having both tools are best.

Hi
do u have latest updates of UDMA

In PC3000 u can do nearly all the hard disk brand. but for salvation u have to purchase all the product to solve the problem.

who knows what hard disk you would be getting for recovery.

THE CBL Tech will sign agreement with us soon. They bought several Suite of our products. The CTO is a Chinese and he is always busy. He sent one senior technician to our company to get training in APril. I think I can not bother them for your order.

You can count on our products and our team. :D

Laura

darkforce1, the last update i saw was about 8 months old. My 'personal update box' with AceLabs does not show any updates available. What was the latest update you have?

Thanks.

Also - Laura, Thanks for the comments. I would love to hear more comments from 'owners/users' of your products to get some helpful feedback. I'm sure you can understand there are several companies that sell products that claim to fix problems but crash or don't work enough to give back any value for money in the long term.

Maxtor Doctor is a firmware fixing tool. Any sort of firmware corruption could be fixed using the maxtor doctor untill the SA does have more than 51 BAD for U-list.

main function is that, if the P-list is corrupt/damaged of any hdd of maxtor, data could not be recovered. as P-list is unique for every hd. By the tool P-list corruption could be fixed to recover data. ( i did successfully b4). and the tool can diagnose if head problem to the hd. so that i can go ahead to replace the head after diagnosing the hdd.

Hi
there is a MAJOR Update in UDMA. You can contact to ACE lab regarding the Update in your update box.

if you are not valid for update as per agreement then i would suggest you that go for it. Nearly all the recent hard disk are supported in this update.

I recommend you to update and then see the possibility and results. if you are not satisfied then you can go for another tool.

The newer Toshiba drives were not included the upgrade (e.g. GSX series). Wonder why?
