How to connect SAMSUNG HD to access terminally?
I have SEAGATE Terminal Access Tool, Can I use it to do it?

Do you have a PC3000?

There are TX and RXD inputs and outputs on the Samsungs that are suitable for terminal mode. The pic below is a SATA drive hooked to the PC3000.

Thank you for your reply. But I dont have PC3000.
Is it possible to access SAMSUNG HD using Seagate TX and RXD inputs/outputs using com port?
And which utility can I use to access the HD?
HyperTerminal of Windows XP, does it work in this situation?
Thank You
Rahad

Well, you can see what terminals to use. Why don't you do a little experimenting yourself?

Hi,

at least a small interface circuit is needed between the COM port and the HDD, otherwise the +-12V can kill the drive's TXD and RXD pin...
see MAX232!
