Hi to all. Something happened with the HDD and I need to change the PCB. The details of the HDD are
WD2500BB-00RDA0
DATE: 06 APR 2006
DCM: D8BHCTJAH
PCB: 2061-701292-B00 AA XW 3D03 1RY3 9 0007400 6407

I would appreciate your expert opinions on my problem.

Yes. An IC has been damaged . I think is the spindle IC.

Hi, you're right it's spindle motor IC.
And next to it you'll find the 8 legged chip you need to desolder and resolder to the new Pcb you have to buy.
And that Pcb should have the same numbers (2061-701292) on it.

Search for burnt Pcb on the forum, and you get a lot of help.

Most of the times i have seen when this component burns it also damages the fuse R120 , Diode , and one of the transistors , Check them before changing the controller .
