:D i just bought a new wd2500bevs wd scorpio blue sata 2.5 inch (250 gb) drive for laptop as a replacement for my old wd scorpio blue (120 gb).
so instead of installing a new windows i just used paragon professional hardisk copy to copy exact image of my old drive into new one. ( i didnt use partition images, as old hd has 3 partitions : one quick media linux access, one for recovery, and the last for my data and os)
and i proceeded with the operation without changing any option.
the new hardisk became identical to the old 120 gb hd with 3 partions and unallocated space of 120 gb.
i was gonna use partition manager to add the un allocated space to the my data partition but i was sleepy and i postponed the process to next day.
a surpise happened next day: the unallocated space 120 gb disappeared ???? :?:
and total hardisk size is now 120 gb like the old one. :?
i used western digital software to setup the hard from the start but the total size is 120 gb and the rest of the 120 gb disappeared completely. :!:
so any comments.

Check administrative tools/computer management/disk management to see if the unallocated disk space still shows.

If not use Maysoft's capacity restore tool, then re-partition & make your last 120GB partition right away.

Don't blame paragon, blame yourself for lack of knowledge on partitions. Before using any sw. get informed!

Simply these softwares does not 'exactly' - sometimes - replicate partition structure or atts. Or they try to adapt to boundaries etc. Ghost with the right cmd. Line works perfectly f.e., without doesn't!
