Error Reading Application Code.

Could this be a ROM issue in 7200.9 drives ?

Yes, could be. I had some case and in two the corruption did not prevent the drive from starting.... with obvious erratic behaviour but the drive DID cal and report readiness. Any command hanged the drive.

I just replaced the drive with a working pcb , i got the same msg on terminal .
So its 100% its not ROM problem its app code corruption in SA .
