Maybe with some more detail... like brand, model and something similar. Is data REALLY IMPORTANT or can live without? And also... What's your skil level and how much are you willing to spend?

It's not a thing you can do on your own unless you are skilled on servicing this kind of HDDs. Strongly suggested to ask a pro in your area with proper tools and skill who can recover your data (it seems that data is important).
It's not possible to explain how to repair your drive..
Where are you located in order to get contacted by someone here who can help you ?

the problem your having is more likely to do with the logic board itself

try and match up with your make and model and firmware

allso match up where it was made too

not sure what it could be put it possible the sata power side has gone down.

does your drive have the 4 pin power plug too
unplug the sata power lead

try this and see what happens

allso does the drive spin up at all can you hear it ??????

It is clicking, so most probably it has head problem. It is possible the platter has damages too. So the more it is ran the more severe the damage will be inside the HDA.
So if the data is critical it is crucial to diagnose the problem properly, no mistake is allowed. For this reason I would really suggest to contact a pro nearest to U.

Now Stts, please come and tell how wrong I am and to disassemble the drive and screw up things for the rest of eternity! :)

kind regards,
pepe
