on some pc mhdd cannot run, during (just after i press on mhdd.exe) on black screen i get device driver error.
Maybe mhdd cannot run because of new sata controller for which mhdd does'n have drivers ?

controller is Intel(R) ICH8M-E/M SATA AHCI Controller

yes, but i successfully executed another software Victoria, Victoria showed me that drive has much slow sectors and also bad sectors, but some proffesionals told me that that kind of tests (mhdd, victoria) must be run on low level (like dos).

Now i trying to run mhdd on my notebook Amilio pi2515 phoenix bios (there is no sata mode menu in bios), mhdd runs, but in mhdd menu i can't see my hdd !

MHDD has to be started only in DOS.
If SATA drive is not recognised, then change SATA drives in CMOS setup to
IDE or compatible or to PATA or to PATA+SATA.
If its not possible to configure that, then either you can update to a newer
BIOS version of that laptop (if available) or use a different (newer) computer
system which has above option and start with a bootable DOS diskette through
an USB diskette drive if the system has no own drive.

Sorry but I have to disagree. I have absolutely zero issues running MHDD on any PC including the latest Intel Core CPUs on Intel P4x chipset :)

I updated bios with last update version, but after that no new menus in bios appeared, still no menu like (sata mode) in my bios. Bios is Phoenix 06/24/2008, SR0SA001.86C.0058.D.0806240930.

I have no problems, too. It's only matter of configuration, probably. Before searching for a non-existing failure, try to make a bootable floppy/volume with PURE DOS.

Yes it can be true that you folks have no problems.
It is better to highlight what is the error or message or display.
It makes more sense to provide a solution if some on is aware rather than communicating that I have no problem. I think this helps the forum with better information database and serve the community as well.
Do I make sense !?!
Any how I did have troubles on some PC's with SATA. Yes manual config gives the resolution depending on the BIOS.

if the bios is that new, there is a (hidden) function to switch from sata to compatible.
I do not remember manufacturer of laptop?
You could contact their local tech support or the guy who sold the laptop. usually
they play with the units and "collect" the questions from their customers.

Especially the "SATA / compatible mode problem" is well known - due to a lot of users
change from Vista back to Windows XP (and need either compatible mode or the SATA-
drivers)

try the NVia boards nForce 430. That is the one recommended for deepspar. The Sata bridge is very good and the board cheap.

In an Amilo forum I found a hint of an Amilo owner:

In the BIOS there are two points to be set:

AHCI disable
raid / ide: choose ide

This is the mode to install i.e. Windows XP without a SATA driver.
You should be able to see the drive with MHDD now.
