Based on your posts I can tell that you have not done accurate diagnostics and trying to fix unknown problem by guessing if it's a board or platter allignement or bad heads.....?
I agree that even if someone has looked at a drive before, without success, you can try to retrieve data, but you faced with unknown cause of the problem, which makes it difficult to resolve. In order to accept one of those open drives, one has to be very good at what he is doing. Those people don't run around asking what they did wrong or how to fix it.
I would love to know what was done to a drive before me and why that was done to figure out original cause.
I never called you names, so don't get personal and don't blame me for those problems.
