Hi to all! :mrgreen:

Bad head3, head0,1 and 2 goods.
Platter 1 is bad, look photo.

Model hdd MK3252GSX 320GB SATA 2,5"

Is possible data recovery?? :?:

Does the drive ID properly? If it does then you may be able to use head mapping feature to disable head 3 and copy under the other three good heads. This will give you 3/4 of the data- often enough for a good recovery. How did you determine that heads 0,1, and 2 are good? Did you see if there's a corresponding groove on the lowest platter? This is the SA area on Toshibas and if that's damaged, then recovery is not going to happen.

If the SA is good, maybe a good skilled pro can do 95-98% recovery on this drive.

(of course on all side in sector numbers.)

You need to do a lot of tricks (electr.,sw,hw, mech.) wich is not public to reach the 90%< success....

SA looks intact to us

so possible you can just replace the headstack and do a recovery.
but your have to disable the head 3 like what msurgeon has said

it might take longer for the recovery too
