You guys are hilarious and I love the DVD cover!

Oh, I might mention that i have a certification from Ace Recovery Labs for their Data Recovery Systems Advanced Training Class. Just in case that mattered to anyone since that seems to be the point of some of the discussion.

No, really, let them do..

We are getting to know them better, that where they get their ideas from, and who is their "Guru" to learn..

Really, I used to consider HDRC and it's tools a piece of junk before, but now, when I come to understand, that they have learnt all their stuff from Scott videos (& other videos like this), I have no hesitation in calling that "Pure Bullshit".

Now I know, why their tools are this much crappy. I merely able to controlled my laugh, when I came to know that HDRC is using these kind of resources for them.

Trying to promote to being an International standards company solely depend upon some internet videos and documents...God....the word "Standars" should be removed from the English dictionary...

in all fairness, the great guru which is Eddie Lewis probably didn't write this as whoever did are not usually speaking English as their native tongue. Unless of course he is really thick.

lovely manners!

Hi Sam, we met at Dmitry's course last year (Simon here). It's a tough business to get into, rather than being born in. One of the nicer things of courses (not done Scott's) is the contacts with others in the DR World. It has been a year since my fist course, in which I learned the basics, but I am still such a newbie it's incredible, despite having done 100's (not 1000's) of successful data recoveries. A few goof ups too, thankfully not on disks people where prepared to pay for

Courses are a great starting point IMHO.

I went on a fist course once. It was hard going with tight entry requirements. After some trepidation i plunged straight in though. Turned out to be a (brown) eye opening experience and i was soon elbow deep....hang on....i'm on the wrong forum aren't i?

Hello Simon, good to hear from you. Just to set the record straight - Dmitry did not teach a course in DR, rather a seminar for people who bought or intended to buy Atola. He covered some basics of DR including clean room work. The quality of his seminar was excellent, but the amount of data covered did not come close to Scott's class. That was not the intent anyway.

Another source of excellent DR specialized training is from ACE Engineering in Ontario Canada - on pc3k and DeepSpar. I took only pc3k. It was very good.

Does anyone know why this thread has been taken out of the content? Is it because of HeadCrash crushed into a wrong forum? (I mean instead of Photoshop 101). Maybe some veterans can appeal to Dmytri to reinstate it?

A bit of banter never hurt anyone, and it can sometimes separate the men from the boys!

Is this how you answer questions? I asked why this thread was stopped. I DID NOT ASK whether a little humor was a problem or whether a little banter separated boys from men. I also asked BlackST to use his venerated status to put the thread back into the content. If he is so knowledgeable and so generous with this knowledge, it should be a child's play...

This thread has run it's course (actually it's gotten much too long)
The question was asked, and finally answered. So what more do you
want from it SAM ( as a fact you answered the original question)
