Hi

I have PC3K UDMA; it is not so wonderful now for me on this board. I purchased this board and received it in January of this year.

Problems keep mounting on this board as the time goes by

1. Boad will receive an error when using it Faital PCI error, program shuts off and have to reboot computer in order to make it work again. After 4 or 5 times it will finally work for a little bit then does this all over again.

2. Was told my MB was cause of this problem and to get new MB or now have 4 new MB here and all do the same thing hang and give me Failtal PCI errors.

3. Told it was my OS becasue I was using French Version of OS so ordered new English version of OS but problems did not change at all.

4. Now it is the processor. But this can not be true they told me that was best to use older version of processor so have been from start using the old version of P4 3.2 processor on this one. I have changed to 3 different processor and even the processor fans have been changed and all is still same

5. Next one was my memory. I should not use DDR2 memory and only use DDR1 well this one was so funny to me becasue that was what was in te MB from the beginning on this one

6. Now to take all progams out of HDD and reload all over again was there next answer to me on this one. OK so low level formatted HDD and started all over again - no changes same problems exists today after reloading this sytem 7 time now

7. Problem with the translation inside of my progam finally got answer after 4 month it was untranslated field of Russian and they gave me new program in my inbox to download and install. Well this program worked great and was not having problems with it at all.

8. Now they have given new program for updates to me in my box and have installed this program inside my machine and gotten it activated. Now new problems exits that have never had before on this one. When trying to load a ldr file in Maxtor - on good drive or bad had to test to see what the problem was - I can get to a certain part of the loader where it has loaded and then it will stop and the rest of the file will never load and the utility panel stays on and asks me if I want to load from HDD, loader and all this. It states my drive is in safte mode so this much of the program is working fine. I have no errors on my drive it is ready and can take loader file.

Does anyone else have any of these problem with the new program that was just released, or is this a diffent problem with this board they have sold to me. I have contacted them over 50 times complaining to about this board and asking for a replacement board and have gotten no where with them on any of this. I would like to try one last time if it is really a system configuration problem to get this card up and running properlly.

Is there anyone that might give assistance in the configuration of this card before sending it back to them and demanding a new card for replacement of my money. I really need this card and please if someone could help me that would be great

Thanks for all

Hi Dear

I have 3 PC 3000 card 2 UDMA, 1 PCI and 1 flash but none has this problem and I am using them from long time.

I dont know what configuration you have used. But I prefer Work station Mother board preferably from Asus Motherboard listed Ram, atleast 600 watt SMPS, and a good cooling cabinet. and I also prefer AMD cpu, Licence Windows xp or Vista. and my system work day and Night. Longest was 18 day / Night working on it.

Please can you provide your system configuration. May be we can sort some issue if it exist there.

DF :)

The current config on the system now is as follows

I have an Asus MB p4 with Intel P4 3.2GHz processor, 512 FB 800MHz inside running 2gb of ram DDR1 currently changed from DDR2 as requested. Board supports DDR1 or DDR2. Board also support IDE or SATA so just instlled new SATA 500gb HDD in there today and reinstalled complete OS Windows XP Pro and activeated this. Reinstalled PC3K from install disk and then loaded new updates from download box and activated this. Insitalled all drives except for USB therminal for the moment on here. Installed also the database not complete just what I wanted to test for right now on this one.

I have used MSI MB, Biosstar Mother boards and Enery MB plus even went as far as test ans Elite Mother board in all this mess. Same problem exist on all that I have tried I have a 600W power supply and there is a cooling unit that runs this system it is not a question of heat or not having enough power to supply to this card.

I have tried the new mother board with Intel dual core processor and still no luck on any of this mess

If you can figure this all that that would be wonderful. I really honostly do not think it is this material that I am using to do all this with. Please tell me to install this card can not be harder than installing a navigatoin system or satelite system. It is not that hard to configure this card and install it. I honostly think this card is bad and they are not listening to me to correct this problem or give me a new card to use.

Thanks for all suggestion and help on this one

Due to all Fatal error PCI Bus Parity error detected decided to dump all the mother boards I have bought for this machine and get a new one

I have changed the system configuration by installing in new tower, with 650W power supply purchased not with tower one with tower is only 350W

Mamory here is all that I can get is Super Talent T8UB2GC5 STT DDR2 PC6400 HY
Processor is Pentium dual Core CPU E5200 @ 2.50GHz
OS is windows English Version with SP3 included on install disk
2 CD Rom drives on is DVD-RW and other is Standard CD RW
Mother boards bad choices here but got what I could for the processor they are all cheap mother boards here and have built in video, sound, and only one ide port and 4 SATA ports on the card.

Low level formated HDD again and reinstalled OS and reinstalled PC3K this time not from original install disk that came with system cause that one is complete bad with too many areas inside of it untranslated Russian on the install disk they have given me with the board. My Board ID is 003287

Have not yet installed the terminal adaptors due to the fact I do not have a Seagate here to test them with and dicedied to leave them off not necessary right now to put them on

Now so far all fatal PCI errors are gone for the moment on this card. I am able to test a few know working drives with the board and do some ldr back ups to see if this is working correctly or not

But now here is major problem. Have some bad maxtor drives here that need to have ldr files to start the drive and when using this ldr to load the drive from all of them hang in the same sport on the menu and will not fnish to load any of the drives I have tested so far. I even went as far as to test a known good working drive to see if ldr would load on this one and no it will not load either.

Any more suggestions as where to go next on this one and what should I do now to try and finish to find out and correct these problems here on this board? Inside the two large manual that came with this board there is nothing what so ever on these types of issues that I keep having with this board and continue to have since day one when uising this thing.

Thanks for any more help on this one

Hi,

Try to talk on msn with you but your time is different.

Tell-me the p/n off the mb, or the code, that you are using right now.

Thanks seems problems is solved now after 9 months. One thing is ACE does not even give a clue to you as to what MB, chipset and PCI configuration works with their card. So now have found a good combination to run the PC3k with and all seems to running fine after perfomeing some tests with the card.

Thanks again for all help and suggestions to everyone
