We can make it, but I do not know how much would be good to make the tool
for old drives, plus there would be a lot of problems because wd hdd incompatibility...

I would have to guess the tools were made for Seagate and Maxtor drives for reasons obvious to data recovery people...WDs are easy to remove heads without this tool....

I must say this ..

I have the Seagate head removal tools and they work perfectly. The tools are precision engineered and are of very good quality. The gap between the fins and platters are completely even all the way along.

They are perfect for drives with seized motors so you can remove the heads prior to platter transplant or un-seizing the bearings. Or for general head stack replacements on these drives.

I look forward to more tools from the company.
