Hi everyone....sorry for jumping on this posting but I am looking for the controlling board of a wd5000aaks-00TMA0 Date:09 Mar 2007 DCM:HANCHV2AAB

My 500 gig drive has died on me and I need to retrieve the data. It's one of two 500gig drives in a 1TB My Book and I can't access either drive 'cause one of the logic boards is fried.

I hope someone can help me on this thanks..

rmckoen, you can't swap the PCBs on newer western digitals due to unique firmware data on the PCB.
