No, he doesn't.

But he surely deserves to be awarded by ace for his selfless efforts...

Are there any new updates for the registered copyr software? Is CopyR dead? This duplication software had such potential but it seems to be on vacation.

I'd have to assume this software is dead now...

Why is that? Are you no longer receiving any response from the author? I just spoke with him recently. Keep in mind that he is probably just a one man show and that it most likely is not his primary business (or source of income) Therefore updates will not be as frequent as from some other commercial tools.

I understand he might be a one man show. Ive had C240 since 9/23/08. My update box shows C239. Just curious...

I was looking into that but I'm not sure how to get past the atmel microcontroller... seems like this will need to have his proprietary code to work properly.

I'm interested in any updates as well. His website is gone (Well, last I checked months ago).

As for the microcontroller, I found it easier to reverse-engineer (Well, it wasn't that hard, the author answered questions) and make my own using a different microcontroller (Think I used a PIC). From my blurry memory, there was only 3 commands, and they were letters. Looking through the code should tell what they are. If you can write code for a microcontroller, it's an easy job. If you need help making one of these, PM me, and I'll dig up what I did.

If the metal does not scratch the poor little platters, then maybe an ESD shock can vitalize the
drive

kevinafg, that was the last post he ever made. I guess the HDDup mafia didn't take kindly to his talking about reversing their code
