 Post subject: Cannot format fujitsu HDD

I have a hard drive that won't format. It is currently a primary raw partition.

What steps should I take to diagnose what is the problem with this drive?

Location: In your hard drive.
Scan it with MHDD to see if the surface is damaged. Stop if you see bad sectors. Come back and post your results.
