 Post subject: WD5000BEVT-00ZAT0. Mercury ROM MODEL. SA problem

Hello everybody!

I have one WD5000BEVT-00ZAT0, with Mercury ROM model. I pluge in the PC3000 and It's shown "WCD ROM MODEL <MERCURY>". So I think It have SA problem, I checked and the module 02 is damage, then I need the SA modules to repair it, but is not in PC soport. Also maybe the Rom is corrupted too.

Anybody have it?

Module 02 is configuration module. If this is damaged then HDD will identify as 'WDC ROM', I do not think ROM is damaged. You need change module 02 from same model HDD. I do not think I have this module, but I will look for you
