Anyone can tell-me if i can use a head from a maxtor DM22 in a ST 7200.11

with the same Site Code : KRATSG

How important is the Site Code? Is successful head change possible without a match? If site code matches but model and fw is different is this stil possible?

I ask because pre F3 seagates I have had success without matching of any details, even different models with same head map.
