 Post subject: HP Proliant ML350

Good Day
i have HP Proliant ML350 Server it has RAID 5 Configured in SAS HDD's now it is showing logical Drives are Disable when i try to enable it one message appears "All data might be destroy" if i enable logical Drives i don't have any SAS connector to connect and take image or backup, RAID controller is Smart Array E200I if anyone how to solve it please let me know Thanks.

We've seen quite a few of these 350's with SAS HDD's with similar problems.

You need to buy a SAS controller and image the individual drives and rebuild with Winhex or your preferred tools.

You also need to ensure the SAS card you purchase is a Host Bus Adaptor and not a RAID controller, a SAS RAID controller will require you to initialise each disk before installing them into BIOS.
