I just got a drive today that gives no indication of power, however upon looking at the PCB there is an unfilled screw hole, and no support underneath for a screw. I was hoping I could provide the information from the PCB and the drive label to see if this is correct.

Most manufacturers appear to espouse the philosophy of just-in-time manufacturing. This means that the date code on the label should match the date codes on the chips.

IC date codes are most often encoded in YYWW or YWW format, where Y=year and W=week.

If you can upload some detailed photographs, maybe someone will be able to assist you.

The 2 that i have have a board rev of 2060-701596-001 Rev P1
both are the exact same model as well

also both of them look like they are missing a screw as well
