2 weeks ago i concurred with a problem i trying realy hard get on the end...may sombody have an ide wath to do next!
One friend of mine came with a Desktop pc that have mirrored hdd and runing Microsoft Windos Server 2003 Standard Edition on it!. The configuration of the HDD connectected to this PC it is the folowing:
80 GB SEGATE IDE HDD PRIMARI ON IDE 1
80 GB SEGATE IDE HDD SECONDARY IDE 1 MIRRORED
80 GB SEGATE IDE HDD SECONDARY IDE 2 MIRRORED
250 GB WESTERN DIGITAL PRIMARY ON IDE 2
The Problem begin a 2 weeks ago when the power supply of the pc is failed!
After replacing the power supply "he realized that the mirrored HDD contains just files until 2007" after this date is no saved files on the MIRRORED HDD s" That's make me very suspect about what's really heapend! After a long talk with my friend he begun to tel me exacly wats heapend.
In2007 he added a HDD to the PC "250GB WESTERN DIGITAL PRIMARY ON IDE 2" that is on the same cable with the 80 GB SEGATE IDE HDD SECONDARY IDE 2 MIRRORED one and i suspecting in this time the mirror was broken so the next 3 yers data vas writen on 1 HDD but wich one i canot decide. Also finded out that the Mirrored HDD vas removed from the PC and may be "witcht betwen them " when was inserted back to the PC and was made a Syncronization again! I Know That MIRRORING i will have to completely identical hdd i wondering in this case it is any recovery option that will help me to recover any of this data that i was mentioning before.
