If you're thinking of purchasing an SD product please contact me FIRST before a hungry SD sales drone if you have any questions. Hopefully I can give you more inside information on SD and its workings before finding out later. I will respond truthfully and honestly to any questions about SD. All private messages or emails will be kept confidential.

Q: Why would I do this?
A: SD banned me for speaking out on many many critical issues with its products. When I caught them in a lie about their own ftp site they banned me.

Email: support@hddpros.com

So far I've talked to and private messaged several dozen forum members. Most did not know how bad SD products were and have decided on other recovery tools. I didn't expect to have so many users contact me but have been answering all private messages. Thanks for all the questions and suggestions.

Hi, I am a DR newbie. I am seriously thinking about buying their product. Is that they are not good for the jobs they are designed for? What was you encounter with them like?

Please:

When the program is busy with some lengthy operation turn the mouse cursor to hourglass (sand-clock) or WorkingInBackground cursor.

Thanks in advance

The Maxtor tool is probably the best tool they ever made. Shame the rest werent programmed the same way. Thanks to Ann we finally have a decent manual. The other Doctors are a hodge podge of sloppy programming and inefective tools.

Thanks Thatdellguy it is nice of you to say I did a good job on the manual for this tool. I do have to say one thing when it comes to SD they stand behind their guarantee on their tools if something goes wrong they will replace them for free if you have a problems. I can not say the same with ACE on this one. Once you get you are stuck even if it has tons of errors they tell you to change the pcb board on your drive or test the heads. I never knew a pci error was caused by head problem or pcb problems before. I know pci is slot in mb that has conflict with card that is using it or is inside of it.

I guess there is language problems in all companies no mater how good they are. I had a lot of them with ACE even sending them exact screen shots it seemed they could not understand their own errors the card produced when seeing the screen shot.

Oh well I do not want a war between all this and thanks for the nice comments on the manual. I do say the maxtor tool is rather nice for recovery once you understand it and can benefit from the manual I put together to use with it.

Amarbir, I'm curious after looking at your website. Do you actually perform data recovery or just resell stuff? I'm guess the site is designed more for selling stuff than actual repairs. With your other post on imagers I'm guessing your new to DR. We welcome you to the DR world but can you do one thing for me? Take a chill pill and enjoy the forum. Nobody likes to chit chat with crazies from India...

I think this guy is traumatized by the SD, thatdellguy You could say openly Wed problem with your card, because as poehere said ACE makes a crappy support and support that you say that. Open the blame game is easy. And it is clear before you speak thatdellguy do not side with anyone to everything I say is what I have been watching this forum for years.

Well ,
Have a Look At My Post count Before You Say that ,Also Its a shame When You Take Verbal assault On Someones Country .Well this is against the Essence Of the forum and also against My dignity To Be As shameful As you and Reply About Your Country In a Defamation Style,Do Not Refer To Mr Arora He Was a Old Man Trying To Learn Data Recovery and SD Has Stuck Some Crazy things In His Head And He Was Punched Here And There In the Forum ,I Am Greatfull This Was Over And Master Dimitry Was Kind Enough To Delete That Forum Part ,This Would Tell you If I am New Here Or a Old Member .Secondly India Is a Country To House Many Software Professionals And there Are Great Many Data Recovery Technicians In India .Some Of them Are Old Members Of HDD GURU Forums ,I Know about This When It Was not even Called HDD GURU .I Suggest You Use Your Pent Up energy Developing Some Crazy Tool At Affordable Price For Yourself Or Might Be Resell It .I Have Many Tools Some Of Ace Some Of SD and some From Other Companies .

TheDellGuy - Shame On you To Drag anyones Country Into discussion ,every Person On Earth Loves his Motherland And No One Has the right To Abuse Or Say Anything About anyones country .What Do you think you Are ,Have Some shame And Self Respect When you Do This ,Old Members And New Once Correct Me If I Am Wrong Here ,What Right Does Anyone Have To Abuse anyones Motherland .You Do Not Like Me Its Fine ,You think You Are a Expert Its Fine Too [ you Can Assume anything You Feel Like ] But you Cannot Abuse a Nation and the People Who stay there .I do Not Have Any Kind Of Hard Feelings About you And your Motherland .GROW UP .and before you comment on this with your eyes closed ,Think How Much It Hurts someone At the Other side .I Hope some Sensible Members Do Agree On this Viewpoint .
