Had a guy come in a week ago. He took his business computer to Beast Buy for a virus cleanup. Got some evil pron i guess. Without asking him Best Buy formated his drive and reinstalled OS. He lost some valluable business files there. Backup done a month ago , and it was a very essential month i guess, since he said backup is all but useless now. Well, didnt stop there. Best Buy techi thought outside of box and ran a data recovery software on that HDD. The only problem was , that he was runing recovery from clients HDD TO clients HDD.... Sad story. I always root for ppl trying DIY and all... But on practice drives or on their own drives. Not on smbd elses....
