My Atola device thinks that is is a failed head stack or possibly electronics. Typically when it is a headmask error I will validate it with the terminal error. I have not seen this error prior. My research points to firmware issue possibly. Any idea on this error?
Atola terminal output:
Rst 0x08M
LED:000000CC FAddr:00258097
Just keeps repeating the led error

Does it sound perfectly normal? Steady spin with no spin down or speed variations?

I would say like Sean said, if it spins down, almost certainly it's heads.

At power on - the drive clicks a few times and then spins steady. At first it was just beeping. I took into into the clean room and moved the heads back to the parked position. The the drive clicked a few times and then spins up.
Thank you for your thoughts!

So that seems that had stiction, but now heads are ruined. Are all heads attached to the arms?

all the heads appear to be attached. The heads we originally positioned at the edge of the platters. I just spun the disk counter clockwise and moved the heads back into the ramp.

So I'm almost sure they are damaged.
You need to check them and replace.
