Data recovery and disk repair questions and discussions related to old-fashioned SATA, SAS, SCSI, IDE, MFM hard drives - any type of storage device that has moving parts

Unfortunately not works, this is a 7 series drive....
I have the Salvation Seagate Doctor only, wich is a s**t.

I have no backup from the vendor track, only the modules, wich is in the tool.
So, maybe the 4 sector is inside somewhere in the modules, but this takes too much time to invetigate how can i select this and where to write up.

try F,,1 instead of F
that will set stuff values no matter what .

Another answer is that salvation tool backs up 4th sector of vendor track as a "module", they just call it something silly and don't mention it anywhere.

Does anyone have a FW for this model?
What should I put on the ASCIFE command, to do a "manual" reset? Where do I get that info?
Thanks

I think it's solved.
Uploaded the module INFO, and I already could do a Surface Scan.
I just need to connect it to a PC (they are all busy now...) to check if it's OK.
