Maybe start from the beginning, what's going on with the drive?
The ROM is locked to RS communication by default, so you can't do anything without unlocking it.

The HDD isn't recognized in the BIOS. The motor is spinning and the read head is moving. How can I unlock the firmware?

So, as usual, if the hard drive boots, replacing the electronics is pointless.
The ROM can be unlocked using tools like PC3000/MRT/DFL.

Ah, sorry you mean the old own. The old own do nothing. I get no messages by powering on.

Blocked terminal on 1CH162?.. Interesting, I hear about it for the first time. :)
And where is the message from Grenada - "Terminal is blocked"?
trainmen,
When shorting the Tx-Rx adapter, the characters are printed ?
And I don't remember what the terminal voltage levels are on the Grenada.
Sometimes it helps to wait 10-15 minutes to get to the terminal.

SWM, Have you checked the ROM from the attachment?

SWM, My mistake, you're right. This version isn't locked :D

The disk itself did not turn on?

Trans implies successful loading of 20E(20F).
Missing small change - (H) SATA Reset...
But, perhaps, the host was not connected. :)

Or the SATA connection has a fault in something (hostport-cable-deviceport).

It looks that way, but that doesn't explain why he can't get to the terminal...
Or maybe he didn't even try :D
What happens if you try to press CTRL+Z?

Maybe it's for the best... If it's not the HDD that's faulty...

@ Lukas
I understand it right, i need to shorting the rx and tx channel cable? I am locking all right for a shorting point, but i dont find anything.
I wait now 20 minutes but nothing happens.

Yes the disk dont turn on and now output over TTL.

If i press CTRL + Z, nothing happened.

does ctrl-z do anything on the donor? It should. On the patient as well. Are you using an adapter capable of 1.8V signaling?

Are your sure it is 1,8V and not 3,3V? I use 1,8V and I read i need 3,3V :/
I see only my command in the terminal, but no answer.
I try it with putty, realterm and seagate tools.
