Barracuda 7200.11
Modle:ST31500341AS
Firmware: CC1H

Now the harddisk cannot be recoginized in the Bios.
After power on,it give out low noise something like unable to spin up.
So,I want to connect it to RS232 terminal in the way :
http://www.msfn.org/board/solution-seag ... l__7200.11

But the terminal has no response no matter I press "Ctrl+T" nor any other Keys.
(It shows "F3 T>" when the HDD is replaced by 500GB or 1TB 7200.12)

Terminal is not going to fix your seized motor.

You should be able to confirm if the motor is seized as the terminal will output.

"Buzz Buzz Buzz"

Over and over as the motor tries to start.
