can some guru explain probabable reasons for an 7200.11 drive with SD15 firmware does not accept terminal commands if connected only pcb?
It gives typical LED error if connected to HDA.

Well the days of free Lunch are over
Why not take a bunch of drives and do some research, this is always the best way to find your answer. Once you find your solution you can come back and share what you found.

One reason for sure is those drives which do not come to terminal have a common reason ,
another PCB is tried on these drives which must have caused firmware change on HDA.

If free luch is over I do not need your USELESS free advice as well . This request was only for guru's and not ordinary DR technicians who are ego driven.

1) First of this has nothing to do with Ego
2) You really don't need a guru to figure this out
3) You should not feel offended, my advice was not all that bad :D

My opinion of the "gurus" diminishes on a daily basis.

If you've come here thinking that this is a traditional forum, then you're sadly mistaken. HDD Guru is more of a marketplace or referral centre than a helpdesk.

Good luck, anyway.

I think I would say HDD Guru is more of a center for networking, discussion, and collaboration between like-minded engineers/technicians. Helpdesk, certainly not. The subtitle for the main forum is "Data Recovery and Hard Disk Repair discussions", not "Post here for someone to tell you how to fix your hard drive" or "I just bought a PC-3000 but don't know anything about hard drives so someone tell me what to do"
