Not possible. USB and SATA are different.

Sure, you can have a converter, but as the protocols are not the same at all it will involve more than just a "pinout"

AIUI, the OP wants to connect a SATA controller (host) to a USB peripheral, not the other way around. I'm not aware of any bridges that can do this.

No, I didn't try it. It should work, otherwise why will they tell it, also they did quote it $260.

My question also - Is there any member who has been using it and working as stated?

Pay Attention to the Initio Chip

you can convert this to SATA to access the SA but NO DATA will be accessed
coz of the chip.

you will see this in WD,Samsung 2.5"
