Sorry, I don't understand your question. Can you be more specific?

Not possible. USB and SATA are different.

Sure, you can have a converter, but as the protocols are not the same at all it will involve more than just a "pinout"

No, I didn't try it. It should work, otherwise why will they tell it, also they did quote it $260.

My question also - Is there any member who has been using it and working as stated?

mr. shahij , it will not work .

Salvation data "Mr. Edison" said
" For the USB to IDE adapter, it is firstly used to connect the USB drives with its USB port, and then you can use one cable IDE to connect with other data equipment.

So far according to our test, it works with USB devices to perform data backup and data clean using DCK, it doesn't work to perform firmware operations. It can be connected with DC to recover lost data due to accidental deletion, format and other logical recovery cases. It is not as good as connecting directly to IDE drives if with bad sectors, but it worked."

Thanks for your information.
Well, in this case, how to access the SA for further analysis?

Pay Attention to the Initio Chip

you can convert this to SATA to access the SA but NO DATA will be accessed
coz of the chip.

you will see this in WD,Samsung 2.5"
