Helllo

my Drive was not found anymore on my computer!

I read much bout firmware problems.

I build some parts to contact the drive,

Here is the output of putty:

What exactly happened before and AFTER the drive didn't come up on PC anymore ? (I don't believe in ghosts...) :mrgreen:

A systemmessage comes up mbr..... or if more then 2gb or so i canceld the nessage!

And after that the hdd cant find in bios or system.

Hello,
i've the same problem with this seagate 2TB-HDD and the same terminallog.
Did anyone find a solution for this problem or can give a hint?

Power it Up again, and listen carefully does it spin normal or some small heads movement issue?
listen carefully to the sound.

Advice, if you dono just get a working one same model and compare the sound in both you should notice the diff.

I have seen this problem just once, but client needed same day service and I had no time to find solution.

I can tell you that is 100% not a simple / DIY fix.

You need professional assistance for any hope of saving your data. Any attempts at the repair / recovery will very likely cause further complications and incur additional work in a professional lab.
