Drive came in and was clicking, swapped heads and same results, put the clients heads in parts drive, drive comes ready and I can read, put heads back in patient drive and I get this via terminal, could someone give me some idea of what it's wrong with this drive? thank you in advance

If those heads work in donor drive, I would say scratch on patients platter.
Was the drive dropped?

This is the 1 platter version...right? So you can see if head1 surface is damaged?
Could be a microscopic scratch...did you try hotswap as well?

With new set of heads, drive clicks and spins down, I put the clients heads on my parts drive and parts drive comes ready and reads from all 4 heads, very frustrating, no cigar!

thank you to all who replied to my issue
