Hey guys!

I've some problems with an ATA Locked ST500LT012 i've got from a friend...

Tried with ZOC and Seagate Tool (F3_hpwlab) but didn't success yet

I use a TTL CP2104 [url]http://www.ebay.de/itm/131749981549
[/url]
It's just connected with TX and RX as the Drive is 1,8V powered
(it's possible to get it connected)

With ZOC I always get error Messages (see Log)

With Seagate Tool I don't get password (don't know whicht track to scan for Password) and empty Track Reads

I've give it a new try today but still without success

Last time I just connected SATA Power, RX and TX from TTL Adapter to the Drive.
Now I also conneted GND from TTL adapter to the Drive...
Maybe this was the reason for SIM and RAW Error last time...

I also tried different buffer settings when i was asked this time - don't know what it is for...

Last time I just did what I've wrote...
I didn't use "m" command or anything else I shouldn't do yet ;)
Just have these Programs from Internet I can work with (Freeware)

Script always stopps with error on line 176 and Bad Buffer Blocks...

Code:
[SERIAL/DIRECT] CONNECTED TO PORT COM4 (38400-8N1)

Boot 0x10M
SpinUpTime = 000006B0
TTR1 = 000007F9

Hello!

next attemp today...

Many thanks to Moltke!!!

After some attemps I got two different "PWD.bin" files

some with password "2708 " - seems to don't work
others with password "fuck " - seems to don't work

Tried to add file in Victoria which told me that filesize isn't correct...

So I opened with Editor and copy/past to Victoria

but still no luck
Quote:
Error after DISPWD, Error: ABRT

After some more tries and hundreds of reboots i tried it without spaces after password...

Password "fuck" seems to work now
Victoria told me now:
Code:
Send password: "fuck". Type: MASTER
Starting security ERASE, ~100 min.

Now I have to be patient and wait till Security Erase is finished ;)

I think all of them look infected or at least some antivirus programs think they are.
Setup a Windows for infected programs, to be on the safe side. :)
