Hi everyone, this NVE is compatible with the PC3K, but I need to know which pins to use to put the drive into safe mode; has anyone worked on this before?

I haven't run any tests yet; I was hoping to find someone who had already worked on it to tell me the key points directly :D

What is the point of futzing about with safe mode if the basic tests of hardware functionality haven't been carried out? There are four stepdown converters and one e-fuse. It would take less than 5 minutes to locate the power supply test points and verify them.

I gave you your answer ... twice. If you can't enter safe mode, it's because the hardware is broken. You can't fix broken hardware from behind a keyboard. You need to do some real troubleshooting. A competent technician needs only a few minutes to verify the power supplies. Watch the video and learn something.

All the capacitors and currents show no signs of imbalance, so—oh genius—if the electronics are fine and I can't get into safe mode via the pinouts, what do *you* think the problem is, in your infinite wisdom?

My question was: Has anyone worked on this specific SSD and can confirm the safe mode points for me—if they differ from the norm—to save on research time (since nobody pays €7,000 for a data recovery job)? I’m an industry expert and know exactly what I’m doing, but if I can cut down on the legwork, that’s a plus. There’s no need to be condescending; if that’s how you treat clients, I don’t think you’re much of a guru.

I provided a video where an experienced technician is working on exactly the same SSD, and I saved you the trouble of watching the entire video by linking to the exact moment where the technician is shorting the safe/ROM mode test points. Why are you still asking the same question? What is your problem, expert?
