Hi !
I have problem with WDC WD400LB-07DNA2 HDD...
Drive is detected by BIOS
Configuration sector is readable
DLGDIAG QUICK TEST -> RESULTS - "SMART ERROR"

I think that drive have errors in SA (Firmware errors), but I'm not sure...

Rewraite 44 and 25 modules from other HDD and afterwards clean Glist
Afterwards - format its...
If in 25 modules were not brought tracks from SA, that you carrying
:)

it's problem in translator. use pc-3000 and regenerate translator. empty g-list, don't write module.

No, it's not a translator problem. Some of the SMART modules are damaged. Find and fix them.

Hello,

from the smart attributes log it is obvious that Glist is full.
I would empty Glist and zero fill the drive and see if it still contain bads.

Even if you empty the G-list Smart will report bad. That is why you have to rewrite Smart table with a good one!
