hi,

you already replaced the chip and no response from the drive. did you check the fuses/safety diodes of the pcb? maybe one ore more of them are gone.

Greetings,

Stephan

The simplest way is to get a new / used ENTIRE drive only for the PCB hoping the damage has not gone further

( ITALIAN TRANSLATION : fai prima a trovare un altro HDD uguale e usi solo la scheda - sperando che il guasto si sia fermato li')

I have taken a look to your images.
I think about the damage, your preamp is dead as well. :(
You need to check this, before, probing another pcb.

preamp? well i don't know where the preamp is in my hd.
but.. engines seem to be ok because while using the swapped pcb
the sound at start was tzzzz TZZZZ tzzzz TZZZZ but bios didn't detect the hd!
and it has NOT fried the swapped pcb!
so i think ( i hope ) i have fried only the pcb!
i just think the r3gla was not the right pcb.

See you!

Hi,

if it is tzzzzz tzzzz tzzzzz-ing, probably the spindle bearing is seized, causing the original motor controller to burn...
bad news. :(

yes that sound was like Tzzz but the pcb was not the right pcb in fact the other pcb has less legs contacting on hd slot than the original pcb!i mean the original has x legs and the hd surface has x legs while the other pcb has x-3 legs.. i just hope!

Did you checked, it is really spin?
If not, you have a bigger problem....
