Just remove the burned component and the drive will be OK.
Don't change the voltage anymore...

Hi josuls, I burned my segate HD too, it is also a ST3320820AS. In my case I found a little piece, the E BUX C735, how can I know this piece is the one that is burned??? Is it ok to just remove it??

If I get a new exact HD, could I change the controller card?

No one can say for sure. You'll have to check whether the TVS is the reason - it would be shorted then. If not, you have another problem.
The drive can be run without the TVS, but most people doing so simple don't know what they are doing: they are running the hard disk without the very component that has previously saved the drives life. If the drive is to be re-used, the TVS should always be replaced AND the reason for its failure removed (bad power supply for example).
