With salvation data hddoctor for maxtor this is the problem

I have a drive maxtor n40p with problem in modules, the drive is detected with N40P. I load boot and load the file .res when I run head reset the drive passt of busy to ready and next i execute head postioning the drive show in status error. When I dont execute the head postioning and load the .res I check the fwdefect scan and I scan the key mods and all shows error, I upload the key mods with error and the process is ok, but rescan the keys mods and return error.

Note: I haf all the firmware of a same donor.

I need recover all the data of the drive. The drive is maxtor 6E040LO NAR 61590 SN E1K.

You are doing something wrong. Did you ask SD SUPPORT? Note : a N40p is the ABC OF DATA RECOVERY.
P.s. Buy Ace PC3000 ASAP.

Post complete model and identifier , i.e. 6e040L0xxyyy and material mix. Pcb I am quite sure is B8FEA or similar. Search in the files section of this forum - pc3000 subsection.

while u get all mod error, u have wrong steps...
u have to Load the RAM also, ignore Head Positioning. I am sure u will get the correct steps...
if u get the Error status again, u have bad head either bad sa.
but this drives have tend to bad head.
