 Post subject: 7200.11 Firmware problem

Seagate ST3500620AS
Firmware HP12


Can anybody knows solution for this.

The disk is BUSY when connected.

We disconect PCB, started termina, Clear SMART, Fixed G-list

then mount back the PCB, power off/on the drive
and terminal is not available.

What can be problem, do you know what to fix

I think many people know the solution, but it is only simple if terminal is available.

Try to get into terminal again, if not then you must consult some expert near you.

I think there is a warning that you could brick your drive if you do something wrong.

the fact that a drive has certain symptoms, doesn't mean that the med to be used is the same in any case. What do you want to do now ?
