Hello people!!!
I was trying to connect my SATA Hitachi HDP725025GLA380 using the IDE to SATA cord, i did it wrong and now it`s not working. My question is: what is that part, or where can I find the schematicas of my drive?

The part looks like a 5V TVS (transient voltage suppression) diode. You can replace it with an SMAJ5.0A from Farnell, Mouser, Digikey.

Alternatively, if you can trust your PSU, then you can desolder this diode or cut it out with side cutters. The drive will run quite happily without it, albeit without protection on the affected supply rail.

Sometimes there is a fuse associated with the TVS diode, but I don't recognise any.

BTW, I'm not a DR professional, just an observer.

Anyway, you are right.

But i need to add:
If the diode is exploded, like this way, there can be more damage in the PCB.
It is a good idea, to do some more measurement like checking shorts in the pcb's power components including VCD chip.
Preamp checking also a good idea in this case...
