Has anyone been able to use the platter tools?

Mine are sitting in their original box, after having tried them on a few test drives. Platters dropped out ...

The platter tools are a complete waste of money. With that said, I have a great set of HDRC platter tools for sale. Never used. Now taking offers. :lol:

return them to HDRC
If the product doesn't work as advertised then they have to return your money

Yes, in an ideal world where everyone shares similar values. I don't think the UCC applies in India . . . and don't know their laws.

If anyone is successful with that, please let me know.
:D

I tried to return mine, but got no where. They wanted me to take pictures of the issues, make a video of the device in a failed operation. Then they would have a tech go over it and respond back to me on how to fix this issue.

I told them Everything that was wrong down to every detail and they never got back to me again. I tried multiple time and got no where.

I even tried to pretend i was going to buy a set of the tools and got a sales person in no time, then was thoroughly ignored once they realized what i was trying to return the plastic piece of crap.

Lesson learned and I will never order from them again and tell people not to use them. Mostly because of their poor customer service and scamtastic platter removal tools. I know it is not a scam, but the quality they are selling these thing, i put them in scam territory since they do not do what they are designed for, unless you just get lucky, but with platter swaps, you cannot take any chances with luck.

I tried to return mine...they sent me a second "improved" set which were more poorly designed than the first.

Thus the danger of Western Union and bank transfers.

It does look like paypal is an option with hdrc, so anyone who used that should have some recourse.

We bought the platterswap tools last year.. Since I didn't really see pictures of the tools in this forum I decided to share my experience with them...
I'm not happy naturally.. Check the pictures (within the documents) and decide for yourself :)

Thanks for sharing. It's good that people will be able to see exactly how bad they are.
